Aside from Cookies and third party tracking which is covered in our Cookie Agreement, powered by Usercentrics, on the website we only collect the information you share with us directly via the contact form with your name and email as required fields in order to contact you.

We don't like cookies, but unfortunately some are required to have the site run on the Wix platform so cookies stored on your computer are only those required to run the website on Wix and to use the Google Maps App on the contact page. Cookie policy and consent is accessed via the banner when you first visit th site and from the link in the bottom left corner of this page after you have responded to the cookie banner.

We use third-party services, to track and analyse website traffic for SEO purposes. These services may collect data such as your IP address, browser type, and browsing behaviour on our website, this an be controlled by your preferences in the cookie banner.

Children’s data: we do not target or knowingly process data about children. If you provide sensitive information about children under the age of 18 that is relevant to your project, we will only retain relevant information if it is required to provide our services, e.g. if there are design requirements for your family, this will be stored on our secure server in line with the policies on this page.
Personal Data
We use your personal data in order to carry out the services you have appointed us to do, or because you have made an enquiry or asked us to do something for you, and to comply with our duties under CDM 2015 Regulations and The Building Safety Act.
This information may include your name, phone number, address, email, and project information.
In relation to a contract we have with you we only share your personal data to other people/organisations who have a direct (legitimate) relevance/ interest in your project. For example when we obtain quotes on your behalf, e.g. for a structural engineer, ecologist, or window quotes. These organisations will all have their own policies on how they deal with personal data.
We will never sell or share your personal information to any other persons or organisations except when required by law for the investigation of illegal or criminal activities, the exercise of legal rights or in defence against any legal claims, or otherwise.
How we store data
We use cloud storage provided by Microsoft 365 Onedrive to store our company and project data. Some project data will also be stored on our website, hosted by Wix. The storage and privacy policies are covered by their Privacy Policies.
Information on the website and used for other marketing purposes will not contain sensitive or identifiable information such as addresses or private client names unless we explicitly obtain your permission.
If we have a current contract, or have had in the past, or you have asked us to undertake work for you, we are required to keep your data for 12 years, this is in part due to the legalities of building contracts, and in order to comply with our duties under CDM 2015 Regulations and The Building Safety Act.
Personal Information
We make every effort to give you access to your personal information, to allow you to correct any inaccuracies, or to remove your personal information at your request provided it is not required for genuine business purposes or by law to be retained.
We require you to identify yourself and the information you request to access, remove, modify or correct before commencing such requests. We may refuse requests that are of unreasonable technical effort or would be highly unfeasible, endanger the privacy of others, or require access that is not normally necessary. When we provide access to your personal information for the purposes of modification, correction or removal, we do so free of charge except where doing so requires an unreasonable effort.
To request access, correction or removal of your personal information, please email andy@aheac.co.uk. We will aim to fulfil your request without delay, our aim is within 7 business days upon receipt of your request, and will be at the latest within one month of the request being received.

We make every efort to comply with relevant legisltion, and would appreciate if you would contact us first to resolve any issues, but if you believe we have missussed your data you have a right to complain to the Information Comissioner's Office.
