A small practice focused on sustainable design, retrofit, Passivhaus Design, and consultancy based in Leamington Spa; providing both Architectural Services, helping clients design & deliver sustainable retrofit & newbuild projects; and consultancy, providing technical advice, thermal bridging calculations, Passivhaus Design services, and AECB CarbonLite Newbuild Modelling & Certification.
Andy enjoys helping to achieve clients' aims by creating healthy and enjoyable places to live and work whilst minimising environmental impact. He is experienced at running domestic extension & alteration projects, restorations, retrofits (commercial, domestic, and ecclesiastical), domestic new builds, and civic and community projects.
Andy prioritises the use of sustainable materials, especially low-carbon, plant and mineral based materials often referred to as, 'natural building materials', such as timber, straw bale, hemp fibre, hempcrete (hemp shiv, lime, and water), woodfibre, cork, clay, and lime.
