DOMESTIC ALTERATIONS

Round Straw bale building

Working with Anne Netherwood Chartered Architect I helped transform the layout of this house in North Wales. The existing kitchen and utility room were cramped and poorly lit.

We dropped the cill of the kitchen window to insert french doors that flood the room with natural light and created a new run of units on the back wall of the kitchen. An unnecessary wall was removed from the utility room, creating a much more use-able space. This was te first stage of the project, which subsequently invloved a garage conversion and other internal alterations.

I enjoy  small projects where relatively inexpensive changes can make a huge difference to the quality of spaces.
